Our Mission Statement
We create an enduring tribute to Canada’s medical heroes who through discovery and innovation have contributed to improved health in Canada and around the world. Through the celebration of our laureates and the delivery of education programs, we inspire the pursuit of careers in health sciences fostering future innovators and leaders.

Established in 1994 and located in London Ontario, The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is a national charitable organization that carries out its mission through:

• an exhibit hall that features a laureate portrait gallery
• induction ceremonies held annually
• educational opportunities for thousands of students across Canada (Discovery Days, Museum School and our Scholarship Program)

Our Organizational Partners
The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is grateful for the longstanding relationship we share with the Canadian Medical Association, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Our organizations share the mutual vision of contributing to a vibrant health care system in Canada.

Working together we celebrate the accomplishments of individuals who have made, and are making, significant contributions to Canadian medicine, calling on them to share their experience, passion and expertise to foster the medical leaders of tomorrow.

We are particularly proud to have been one of many partners with the Canadian Museum of Civilization in developing their online exhibition, “Making Medicare: The History of Health Care in Canada, 1914 – 2007”, which provides historical references as well as online educational tools.
