Nominate

Laureate Selection Process

Once the nominations close, the CMHF compiles all active nominations and distributes a copy to each of the Selection Committee members. Active nominations include those that were submitted but were unsuccessful in the previous two inductions (i.e. a nomination remains active for three consecutive inductions).

Each Selection Committee member reads through and assesses the merit of each nomination before convening as a group to carry out an in-depth evaluation of all the nominations. They follow a process established by the CMHF Board of Directors. The CMHF Executive Director is present at the Selection Committee meeting, but only to answer procedural questions.
