The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame values the important role that volunteers play in charitable, not-for-profit organizations. Along with volunteers needed to greet guests and lead tours in our exhibit hall located in London ON, we need volunteers for our Discovery Days program carried out across the country.
Researchers, clinicians and academics play a key role in the Discovery Days program. By sharing your knowledge, skills and experience with young people you prime them for a life-long interest in the health sciences and ultimately contribute to the future sustainability of Canada's health care system. Encourage a high school student to embrace a career in the health sciences by becoming a Workshop Presenter or Career Panelist. Visit our Discovery Day line-up to sign up for your particular site.
University students are also encouraged to become involved. Event day volunteers are always needed to help with setup, registration and guiding high school students to and from their workshops. jmcnorgan [at] cdnmedhall [dot] org (Email us )for details!
