Canadian Medical Hall of Fame to join the growing excitment at 100 Kellogg Lane

March 29, 2019

London, ON The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF), founded in London, Ontario in 1994 is moving their Exhibit Hall and offices to 100 Kellogg Lane in July, 2019. Upon completion of the new entrance and atrium in the coming year, the inspiring stories of more than 130 Canadian medical heroes will be on display in the new Exhibit Hall in an open, accessible area on the main floor.

“We know that those who find their way to our current Exhibit Hall love the experience and are proud that Canada celebrates its health heroes in this way,” said Lissa Foster, executive director of the CMHF.  “This influenced our decision to move the Exhibit Hall to an interactive and dynamic location that already enjoys a large audience so that many more Londoners, and visitors to our city, will learn about these remarkable stories, and remain proud that this important national effort was started here.”

Originally a Kellogg's cereal factory, this long-time London landmark is being transformed into a million-square-foot leading tourist destination where excitement and culture meet.

“We are very excited to welcome the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame to the 100 Kellogg Lane development,” said Martha Leach, vice president, 100 Kellogg Lane.  “Through a wide variety of interactive and experiential activities, our goal is to provide visitors and families with the opportunity to learn and play in this historic London landmark. The CMHF is a perfect fit and we are confident that this move will greatly benefit both organizations.”

The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Exhibit Hall will be accessible to all 100 Kellogg Lane visitors for self-discovery free of charge. Guided tours and receptions can also be arranged for a small fee. Nationally, Canadians can learn about the inspiring contribution of Canada’s medical heroes on the organization website and Virtual Hall at

CMHF offices and staff will also move to 100 Kellogg Lane. With six employees, the CMHF manages national programs including Discovery Day in Health Sciences events (career exploration for high school students) at 15 locations across Canada, the nomination and selection process of new Laureates, the annual Induction Ceremony gala, the CMHF Award for Medical Student Program and a Virtual Exhibit Hall online. Locally, CMHF is a host site for the London Museum School Program and elementary school class trips.
